An engineer looking for a job in the tech sector is now in luck.
Tech industry recruiters in the United States and Canada are beginning to see an increasing number of job postings with technical engineering roles, and many of them will be for engineers.
The Federal Trade Commission announced Tuesday it will be launching a new website dedicated to the job market in the U.S. and Canada that will track jobs for engineers and computer programmers.
The site is called Engineering Job Search and will be open to job seekers who are looking for work in the field of computer engineering.
The FTC’s new website will have an on-line recruitment tool, which can help applicants find companies with engineers and programmers.
“In the next few years, we are going to see more and more people in our economy that want to learn how to code,” said Jennifer Ehrlich, chief marketing officer of IT recruitment firm Kain Enterprises.
The FTC’s website will be similar to the one offered by other companies like JobLink and CareerBuilder, but will have a similar focus.
“We want to make sure that the jobs that are available are good, that they are technical, and that they’re not going to be filled by people who are just looking for jobs in IT,” said Ehrich.
The new website is only a first step in helping recruiters identify candidates with engineering skills.
They will have to get a lot of data on job seekers before they can hire them, and the FTC has not provided a list of specific job categories.
Companies that are looking to hire engineers in the industry say the market is not quite as saturated as many people think.
The tech industry is growing and the need for engineering is growing, said Steve Jenson, CEO of the Computer and Communications Workers of America.
“There are many different kinds of people who could be engineering engineers.
And the way to make that transition to engineering is to look at what the different skills are,” he said.
The hiring of engineers is not going away anytime soon.
It will be a trend that continues for years to come, and in the meantime, there are plenty of other opportunities.
In addition to the Federal Trade Commision, the FTC also announced it would be launching an agency-wide task force focused on engineering jobs.
The task force will work with employers to help them understand the needs of engineering workers and identify which positions are most valuable to them, said Jenson.
The company also announced a new hiring initiative aimed at hiring more engineering talent.
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers said it will launch an engineering recruitment program for its members in 2018.
The program will include job searches, a job fair, and an internship for the first time in the organization’s history.
